For this, the trees that were allowed to grow at that time have to be felled. The teak trees were felled many years ago, but they keep sprouting. This can be dangerous if the wind is a bit strong, because the old tree stumps are rotting and some of them are very rotten.

The tree feller we hired felled the trees in such a way that they fell precisely next to trees that were left standing, such as coconut palms and avocado trees.

The whole operation took two days because the loggers were surprised by a thunderstorm on the first day and could only continue the next day.
